Contributor Guidelines
How to file stories that ship fast & score high.
OneMarket is built for contributors who value accuracy, speed, and clarity. Follow these guidelines to maximize your publish rate and trust score.
1. Sources
- • Always include at least one primary or authoritative source URL.
- • Add 1–2 secondary links for context, not for drama.
- • Screenshots or rumors alone are not enough for Green trust.
2. Headlines & summaries
- • Keep headlines concise, factual, non-clickbait.
- • Use the summary to explain what happened in your own words.
- • Add a one-line “why it matters” anchored in impact (not vibes).
3. Beats & tags
- • Choose the most relevant beat: AI, Markets, Energy, Chips/Hardware, Policy, Other.
- • Use tags that help search & filter (e.g. “NVIDIA”, “Data centers”, “OpenAI”).
4. Conflicts & ethics
- • Disclose holdings, employment, or advisory roles when relevant.
- • No paid placements disguised as news.
- • Plagiarism or fabricated info = permanent removal.
5. Trust & promotion
- • Consistent, well-sourced work → higher trust scores → more front-page placement.
- • Editors may adjust trust labels; changes are logged internally.
